Parking in Waltham Forest, costed before the van arrives. It depends on the bathrooms, not the bedrooms. A house with one bathroom does well on a combi. A three to five bedroom house where a family bathroom and an en suite are used at the same time is usually better on a system boiler with an unvented cylinder. We count the outlets and measure the mains before advising.
Can the boiler in a half house flat be moved?
Often, if the flue can reach a legal terminal position on the new wall and the condensate can reach a drain. On a narrow terrace the good positions are limited, and a leasehold flat usually needs the freeholder’s agreement for a new terminal. We check both at survey.

It is on the quote as a line. For a longer job the resident trader permit, £80 for 7 days, is usually best, and you apply for it using our quote. For a one day swap a business visitor permit at £2.60 an hour for one zone can cost less, and contractors may use one.
Could a heat pump replace my boiler instead?
In a house with outside space and reasonable insulation, possibly, with £7,500 from the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. Waltham Forest’s guidance wants the outdoor unit in a rear garden wherever possible and quiet enough to meet 37 dB(A). A flat with no outside space is not a candidate yet. We fit both, so the advice is not bent towards either.
What paperwork will I have afterwards?
